2000 Chevy Blazer Transmisson wont shift

My transmission wont shift when i gun it. But when im just crusing it will shift smoothly. The check engine light is on and when i got above 35 it starts to blink. Also the car is not getting the best gas milege it usually gets. And the car idles just a little bit ruff. I changed out the motor mounts and also the transmission mounts and it does idle better then it did but its still kind of rough. It also lacks acceleration when i take off just a little bit.

For starters have the PCM (computer) scanned for codes. If the PCM sees a problem it will store a code that will help in diagnosing the problem, get back with the exact codes.The roughness may be a misfire which can cause symptoms similar to a bad trans
