2000 Chevy Blazer Recharging my air conditioner

Last July I had my vehicle's air conditioner recharged and it worked really well until late August. By mid-September it was blowing warm air. I am wondering why this would happen? Can I recharge my aircondintioner safely and how would I do this. If not what service do you recommend that i get a mechanic to do?

Sounds like it has a leak somewhere get leak tested
