2000 Chevy Blazer Rear Glass Hatch/Tailgate

Rear glass hatch/tailgate will not open. Latch does'nt release, not a fuse problem. Can hear "motor" operating, but no release. How can I open?

You have to climb in the back and remove the plastic panels to gain access to the latch. Once you get to it, you can open it without breaking the window.Most of the plastic pulls off, look for a few screws around the top
