Code P0452

I have a P0452 code popping up on my blazer.

AutoZone code reader gave me these details:

Definition: Fuel tank pressure sensor condition

The evaporative system sealed condition is monitored by this sensor

Probably Cause:

Fuel Tank pressure sensor defective
Check connector and wiring
Check hoses and fittings
---

I replaced the gas cap but I still get the error. Im not sure what wires and hoses to check so I want to try to replace the fuel tank pressure sensor.

Someone told me that with the 2000 blazer you don't have to drop the tank to replace the sensor, you can just reach your hand on top of it and get it. Is this true? If so how will I tell that I got the sensor?

How difficult a procedure is it to replace this?

first make sure your gas cap clicks 3 times when tightening and then make sure you don't have any holes in the vent or filer neck hoses. then go to your evap cannister and you'll see a red valve. that is what you need to see....

I just changed my fuel pump on a2004. S 10 Blazer, I am pretty sure your going to at least have to drop the passenger. Side of the tank to get to the sensor, your can leave the filler neck hooked up to the tank and just drop the passenger side enough so you can see the sensor, the tank has a cover over it I guess for.rocks and debris, I just left it off because it was hard to get back on because of the leaf springs.
