2000 Chevy Blazer no brakes

Hi:
Does the pedal go to the floor? When you replaced the master cylender, was the pushrod adjustable?

it goes almost to the floor and stops then the brakes stop and i goes the rest of the way to the floor

i dont think it is adjustable cause but i dont think that the problem


but some how air keeps getting in the system cause we bleed them and we get all the air out then we come back and there is still alittle air in the system

Hi:
Can you pump the pedal to get a normal pedal? If so, does it then slowly go to the floor? If so, I would say you have a bad master cylender again. If you can pump it up and then it slowly goes to the floor, something is bypassing in the master cylender allowing the fluid to get past the piston.

no pumping it does nothing i think i figured it out

its either the front calipers or air in master clyinder that i didnt get out when i bench bled it so i going to try that but thank for the help

Are the front calipers leaking fluid? Also, if you ran a gallon of fluid through the system, I would think you got the air out of the master cylender. regardless, let me know what happens. Check the rubber brake hoses to make sure they aren't expanding when you hit the brakes.

thats wat i thought we keep getting air out so we kept bleeding and we stop getting air so we stopped but why would the brake hoses be expanding does that mean they are bad the front calipers are not leaking

it was air in the line i test drove it after about five min the pedal was a lot better so thanks anyways
