2000 Chevy Blazer help please getting frustrated!

well i started up my truck had put it into drive and gave it some gas and the oil filter gasket blew. i didnt think nothing of it and replaced all the oil and oil filter started it up let it idle for a bit it was doing fine but then i gave it a lil gas and it blew again..can someone please help me i cant seem to find the problem. so please tell me what it is or could be and how to fix it...

Check the oil pressure -sounds like excessive pressure to blow the gasket due to the pressure relief valve not opening
