I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer-Trailblazer with the 4.3 V6. On cold days, or when the vehicle sits for extended periods of time, the vehicle starts quickly and effortlessly. If the engine is at operating temperature and warm, it often cranks over for quite some time before the vehicle starts. When the vehicle is going through this long cranking process, I can either step on the gas pedal to help start the vehicle or I can just keep cranking the engine. Either way, the vehicle will start and will always start no matter what. However, the issue bothers me to no end, as I cannot find the problem. Most of the answers on the internet suggest I check the fuel pressure, but to me, that doesn't explain why the vehicle only starts normally when cold, and not hot. I believe some how the temperature of the engine is causing some sort of valve/gauge/system to not properly operate while starting. Somewhere in the starting process, the engines temperature is causing an issue.
