Has a hard time starting after prolonged sit. Low engine performance fuel pump has a deep weired sound to it. I got 81 miles to the gallon for the first time last night, The fuel pump made a loud noise twice during the 81 mile trip i checked the fuel filter its brand new. when I try to start the vehicle the battery almost goes dead. I need to make sure this sounds like a fuel pump problem

Wow! You got 81 MPG's. I wouldn't change a thing. However, if the pump is making a strange noise, that would be my first guess. What I recommend is to have the fuel pump pressure and volume checked. That way you can feel more confident.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
