Electrical problem
2000 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 2000 blazer that has a constant turn signal noise. It doesn't affect the turn signals as everythign works fine. the sound stops when I apply the brakes and starts again when I release the brakes.
Is this a cheap fix by replacing the flasher or do I need to replace the console switch?
thanks

i think there was a recall to change the hazard switch in the steering column. call your local dealer with your vin number and they can tell you if it is an open recall or not.

thanks very much. I checked the hazard switch; seems to work fine. found what to look for in the recall notice but it doesn't seem to be affected by this.
anything else?? does anyone know how I can test for either the switch or flasher?
