I've got a 2000 Blazer and it appears to be stuck in 4-High. I push the button to switch it to 2wd, but it doesn't do anything. The 2wd light flashes for a second, but it never comes out of 4wd. When I push the button for 4-low, it keeps flashing until I shift it into gear, and then it just goes back to 4-High. What do you think? Where should I look before bothering the guys at AAMCO?

I've got one that does the exact same thing. I'm thinking that it may be as simple as a relay. But I'm no transmission guy. I think it's either going to be a relay or the switch itself (less likely). It could also just be the transfer case is shot, which means sell the thing.
