1999 Chevy Blazer what could this be??

1999 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

when it gets driven, when it shifts, it slows down, sometimes to an almost complete stop even when the gas pedal is bein applied. we changed the transmission filter (another mechanic said it was the problem)but wasnt the problem. just wondering what it could be

Suspect internal tranny failure
Do you have check engine light on? and if so check for codes as it may show the reason for your issue
