Service 4WD Light

Electrical problem 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 80000 miles

My service 4WD light is on, and my 4 x 4 switches are not lite up. Therefore, I cannot tell if I am in 2 hi or 4 hi. What could be the cause of this?

I have the same problem with my 99 silverado 2500.

Your answer could be my answer and vice versa.

Someone please help us!!!!

Hello,

These trucks had a problem with the 4x4 control switch. I would try that first.
