Drive Train Axles Bearings problem

HI I HAVE A PROB WITH REAR AXLE WHEN CORNERING IAM GETTING AGRINDING NOISE FROM THE DRIVERS SIDE BRAKE ROTOR ,THE CAR IS RIGHTHAND DRIVE.ON JACKING UP I FOUND THAT HAVE AN IN AND OUT MOVEMENT OF ABOUT 1 MILL ON THIS SIDE BUT NO OTHER MOVEMENT IE UP AND DOWN .THERE IS NO IN AND OUT MOVEMENT ON THE OTHER SIDE AT ALL .ANY IDEAS THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

it might be the clip that holdes the axle in the truck. You have to drop the plate at the center of the axle, which will require a new gasket and new fluid. It could also be a wheel bearing ging bad or something else all together.
