Electrical problem
1999 Chevy Blazer Automatic high miles

the power locks keepi locking and unlocking at random when car is running AND when car is off! Just started happening. It's like it's possessed or something

Note: FYI-the remote stopped working long ago. This happens whether the remote is nearby or totally out of range.

Could this be a door switch problem? I've also had an issue with the battery getting drained when the car is off, as well.

One of the door lock switches may not allow the circuit to remain open when in the off position. When the circuit closes power is applied to the circuit. That would explain the parasitic current draw.
