1999 Chevy Blazer In drive but display reads reverse

Transmission problem
1999 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I am just wondering what can be done to fix this problem. Can I do this on my own or does the vehicle have to be brought into a shop.

if you have a cable style shifter you'll probably need a new cable, they may be in two pieces. then after you install the new cable make sure theere is a ground wire from the engine to the firewall. It may be out of adjust ment as well. try that first.
