I just bought this SUV, used of course. I tried to put the truck in 4 wheel drive and two things happen( I have 2L,4L,4H and 4 wheel assist). I hear a clicking sound coming from the dash board and the lights on the selected buttons flash. Can you please give me some info on trouble shooting this problem or maybe a salution. Thank you.

Hello,

It sounds like an issue with the transfer case module. That module is located under the passenger side dash.
Clicking noise tells you that the module is getting power but unable to change setting.
This could be also due to the module not getting proper power. This can also make the module not to function.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
