Transmission problem
1999 Chevy Blazer 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I changed the transmission fluid and the filter yesterday and my vehicle was running fine. Now today I took it 3 blocks to the gas station and back and it kept revving up to 3-4K and then not going very fast and the reverse gear wasn't really working. What did I do wrong?

Did you use the correct color of fluid? Also check to see any leaks? If it is leaking, make sure the fluid pan bolts are torqued to 84-96 in-lb. Pressure change from a clean screen could affect band adjustments as well.
