I had my blazer inspected all safety checks are good. Then they (firestone) put it on the dianoticisc machine and four of the codes were not ready . They told me to drive it on long trips a couple of times . After 1000 miles codes are still not ready. Told me to take it to GM dealer they have the right equipment to unfreeze my stuck codes!!! WHAT? please help!!

try another mechanic other than firestone. the firestone people may have a scanner that can't erase the codes or theirs is broken. If not then it may be something that a tech 2 that the dealers have that can take care of the problem......
