I have replaced the battery and the alternator. My old alt was tested snd showed much flucuation (power surges). They suggested replacing the alternator as they thought it was my voltage regulator. Had it changed and it is still flucuating. My lights dim and get brighter etc...Help!

Is the belt around the alternator tight? Make sure that it was installed correctly. If so, check your battery terminals for any possible corrosion. A bad ground will not allow the full power to be distributed to the vehicle at all times, causing the pulsating lights. You also need to check the cables , both neg. and pos. , coming from the battery to ensure they are not faulty.
