1998 Chevy Blazer P0440 Evaporative Emission Control System

light came on i scaned it p0440 came up again. 2 yrs ago i put new fuel tank in with new fuel pump ran all new fuel lines. about a month ago light came on when i scaned it it came up for egr system. the muffler was shot so i replaced it light went back off by itself. now the light is on again with a fermilar code p0440.whats next to check its not the fuel cap its brand new as well. is it common for the evap canister to go bad or shoult i spend the money to have the system foged?

Hi:
If you want my recommendation, have the system fogged. Otherwise, you will drive yourself crazy trying to find the leak. Trust me, I've been there.
