Is there any easy way to stop a float from sticking in the gas tank? I will fill up my Blazer but it will still read "Empty". I just don't want to have to remove the gas tank if possible. Thanks

Well, don't want to be barer of bad news, but, no...
In my experience it is usually the sending unit shorting out and not the float. It could also possibly be the Wiring Harness chevy has had problems with them and recommend replacing the harness when changing the pump assembly.
