1998 Chevy Blazer coil wire

The Plug coming off the coil pack running down through the harness keeps melting and breaking right at the plug end where you plug it in what causes this?

Which wire? If it's the wire that connects to the coil from the control module it could be a bad coil causing high current. If its the actual coil wire that goes from the coil to the distributor the cap and rotor may be bad causing arcing and heat. If its on the coil end it could also be a bad contact in the coil causing heat.

It's the wire coming from the control module not from the distuboter cap, thinks for the help I'll have to get that checked.

If it is melting off I would replace the coil and make sure the grounds are clean. It sounds like the high current is generating heat. I would also replace to connector with a new one.
