1997 Chevy Blazer how to cool down my Blazer

I just put a new thermostat on the truck and its still running hot to the point wheres smoke is coming from the radiator and my check engine light dont come on, how do I fix the problem

Check if the radiator is clogged and water pump circulating coolant thruout the engine if both okay could be air in it-try bleeding it don't work and radiator cap okay-Get it block and pressure tested-
