Hood latch cable snapped?

My hood latch cable snapped and I can't open my hood. Is there any other way to open it.

Yes. It's possible. You need to reach up from under the front between the grill and radiator support. You should be able to see the latch and the broken cable stub. Just pull it toward the drivers side.

clearly the responding person knows nothing about how the release mechanism is designed in this vehicle?

I have seen people break out the grill to get to the cable and hood latch
