1997 Chevy Blazer Gas leaking behind drivers rear tire area

Just picked up a 1997 Blazer two days back and noticed when the vehicle is parked with the engine running, gas dribbles (pretty good drip) from under the car just in front of the rear drivers side tire. Someone I mentioned the problem to suggested it could be a leak in the gas reservoir? It only leaks gas when the car is parked and running it seems. The car is under warranty- only engine, transmission and drive train. I'm wondering first if this issue may fall under warranty. If not, given i've had the car only 2 days AND the issue is blatantly obvious, would the seller still be liable I wonder?

i would take it in and have them ask it, it may fall under engine. as its an important part. if you have anti-lemon laws where you live, and you buy it from a dealership they are liable.

the 2nd day after i got my blazer it did the same thing.it's the fuel tank.it has a hole in it.the fuel tank is actually really cheap.got mine for only$45 at auto zone.even a small hole can leak alot.believe me i know.i got that kind of luck with cars.

If its showing on the frame behind the wheel it is likely the fuel line itself. The main line, return line and brake lines all run together and that area likes to get filled with dirt/crud. Then the lines rot out. Since it's still under the warranty have them replace both lines and the brake line. They are part of the drive train.
