I had a fuel pump put in, it only lasted a month, returned it for another, that lasted 5 minutes when we put it in. It didn't even sound right when we turned the key. I then bought a dealer fuel pump and had that put in. We have not been able to see if the new pump works because there is no power going to the pump itself. My truck turns over, lights come on and every thing, there is just no power going to the pump. The tester light hardly lights up when it was put in the plug under the hood that leads to the pump. We can't find a brake in the wires either. Can you help? Is there any chance my truck is ruined from the fuel pump that only lasted 5 minutes?
