1997 Chevy Blazer Fluid in the cooling system

Is it possible for transmission fluid to be going into my cooling system. For weeks i put fluid in and i constatnly need more..but never see a drop on the ground..until car overheated today and cooloing sytem is full of brown oily smelling sludge.

Hi there,

the only place this can happen is if the trans cooler in the radiator has a leak, check for this and check for water in the transmission as well.
