I rebuilt the top end of my motor.(blown head gasket). But now i get a slight clatter at 200 rpms. I had the heads machined, and did everything by the book. The only thing is i think i might have put one of the pushrods in upside down from is origional position. would this cause the clatter? Its been 10 months now, hasnt gotten worse but isnt getting better either.

No that wont hurt anything.Sounds like you have either a valve that is a little loose in adjustment or a lifter that isnt pumping up/holding pressure.
