emergency brake light will not turn off, the emergency brake lights were not used...the light just came on and stays on???

faulty park brake sensor located at base of park brake assembly will cause this issue

Sometimes if your brake light will stay on its an indicator that your brakes are low and they need to be replaced (the more worn down your brake pads or shoes get the more fluid in the master cylinder is required to compress the pads when in use) Check the fluid in your master cylinder and if its low. Check your brakes
