Recently had the engine replaced with a newer one - it has 75000 miles on it. Was told that it was running great now. Problem is, it is not. Black smoke is coming from the tailpipe, it is missing while in park or drive, it is shaking. The most recent issue is black smoke coming from the back of the engine. Any suggestions with what could be wrong?

1st place to start is to have the fuel pressure check-the black smoke comes from an imbalanced air and fuel mixture that's always on the rich side of the stoichimetry 14.7:1 ratio

Possible areas: Fuel Pump/Pressure Regulator/02 sensor/Coolant Temp. sensor/Injector/s.
