I have a brand new battery, we have to jump start it in the am and it will run all day then the next day we have to jump it again. why would this be?

Bad alternator, bad wiring to the alternator. Bad voltage regulator in the ECM. Parasitic drain on the battery. Those are just the beginning. I would take it to a shop and have them test the charging system. Some of the parts places will test it for free.

Did this start after the new battery or was the new battery an attempt to fix the problem?
