1996 Chevy Blazer rear axle removal/ pumpkin lube

there is no means to refil the pumpkin that i can find.
son broke axle am attempting to replace.
cannot locate a fill plug

fill plug should be on the housing side where driveshaft attaches,it will be 3/8s square
