I heard trans mission flushes could be bad for your tranny. And then I read in a article that a good way to clean your tranny is to replace a quart of oil with a quart of transmission fluid. Should I pour the tramnsmission fluid in the same tube as the oil? Is it bad to do or what would you prefer?

If you put tranny fluid into the oil that will never get to the transmisison. That stays in the engine. I'm assuming you mean adding engine oil to the transmission to help clean it and no I would not recommend that at all. If you have never had the transmission fluid and filter replaced than you should drain and replace it, but don't flush it.

Hi there,

A transmission flush is done with a dedicated flushing machine that constantly adds fluid while the trans is running, ensuring that all the oil is changed and harmful deposits are removed, the pan is also removed and the filter is replaced, this type of service is not recommended to be done at home as you can damage the transmission if it is not done correctly.
