1995 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

what would cause it to run so rich? you can smell the gas. it runs very rough at a stop and when it pulls off. my check engine light goes on and off. I changed plugs and wires and o2 censor. need help it drinks alot of gas.
