1995 Chevy Blazer pedal hard to push

Brakes problem
1995 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl

My brake pedal is very hard to push, thus making the vehicle very hard to stop. There is brake fluid in the vehicle. There doesn't seem to be any noise when I brake, but I do have to start braking way ahead of time to stop. My question is what kind of problem am I looking at here and about how much will it cost me to repair?

if you stand on it with 2 feet will it stop the car like normal?
