1995 Chevy Blazer OBD 2

I bought an obd 2 code reader. Tried it on 2 blazers. Worked fine on 1. The second said no supported system. What reasons would cause this?

Your OBD-II reader will only work on '96 and later GM models, and very few '95 models, even if they have the OBD-II 16 pin connector

as stated by the unit "no supported system". You will need a unit capable of OBD system (12 pin connector).
