My fuse for the tail light and courtesy light keeps blowing out. Initially it lasted a few hours, now its immediate. All the lights do work but I replaced all the bulbs anyway. When the fuse blows my 4 wheel drive indicator light and my dash lights go out also. My cigarette lighter still has power. I took the light lens apart for shorted wires but found nothing. I don't have a trailer hitch light plug. Some one said to check the 4 wheel drive solenoid, but I'm not sure where it is. This is my only vehicle so I have to drive it at night with my 4 way flashers on because of the no tail light. Any help troubleshooting this pain in the butt problem would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You said tail lights and courtesy lights go. The most common problem ive seen is under the drivers side carpet where your feet rest, water collects and rots the harness right there. The orange hot wire for the dome is there and the brown tail light feed wire are right there. This has to be where your problem is because that is the only place those 2 circuit wires meet at the same place.
