MY CAR MAKES A SOUND ,THAT SOUNDS LIKE A AIRPLANE TAKING OFF. THERE IS NO CONSISTANT PATTERN, THEN IT MAKES A CLUNKING NOISE AND STOPS. I JUST HAD IT IN TO A SERVICE GAGARGE, BUT BECAUSE IT DID NOT MAKE THE NOISE I STILL DO NOT KNOW THAT THE PROBLEM IS.

is the noise while driving or just with the engine running?

It makes noise while driving, at both low speeds and high speeds and not all the time.

when it's making the noise, try turning side to side slightly. See if that causes the noise to change or totally go away. Let me know the results.
