1994 Chevy Blazer starting

Just got blazer and when starting have to pump gas a couple times to start. Any possible fixes?

Hello,

Since it is fuel injected pumping the gas pedal does nothing it does not add any gas to the engine. The fuel is injected directly into the cylinder.

Do this.

Turn key to ON Position then back OFF, do this 3 - 4 times then start vehicle if starts will need to check fuel pressure. Fuel pressure test connection is located on drivers side rear of engine, Fuel pressure should be 55 - 61 psi. If fuel pressure checks out then you will need to replace the CPI Assembly or as most mechanics call it the Spider Assembly. It is located under the upper intake manufold.

Tried to to turn to on the off 3 to 4 times still had to pump the gas few times while starting blazer to turn over. After is started though and I turned off started right back up. Any other ideas?
