i'm trying to change the oil but cant find filter do u have a pic to show where it is

On some early model 4.3L engines the oil filter is located behind an access panel. If this is the case, open the oil filter access panel located at the front of the vehicle

Otherwise it should be easily seen from under engine looking up.

It is tucked in behind the air filter housing under the hood. If you look at the air filter housing on the left fender look between it and the fender and you will see the remote filter mount.
