Replaced master cylinder in Chevy s10 Blazer (due to possible internal leaking) and when done had firm, tall pedal. Two weeks later, pedal went to floor and I lost brakes. Thought maybe had defective master cylinder (it was rebuilt) so bought a new one and put it on. This time, however, pedal did not recover. Continues to be low. The brakes do work, but pedal still goes almost to floor. Bench bled the new cylinder on car (b/c were in parking lot), possibly not well enough. Now, after getting home, tried to bleed entire system including ABS modulator and all four wheels. One confusing thing I encountered is that on the ABS modulator there are two bleeders. The one of the left (when looking at it from the front of car) bled normally (got a little bit of air, but then all fluid). However, the one on the right gives nothing when opened, not air, not fluid, and brake pedal does not go to floor when it is opened. Does this mean the ABS modulator has something wrong with it? Is it possible that I still have a problem with air in the lines that I have not bled out (bleeding at all four wheels did not produce any air) and, if so, what would be the best way to insure getting the air out?
