Transmission problem
1994 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I would like to know what would cause the gears to slip on my truck part of the time. There are times I can be driving and the gears will continuously slip and other times won't slip at all. I would appreciate any help you could give me.

I take it you mean the transmission is slipping? If so it could be many things. Low fluid, burnt fluid, internal parts worn, broken parts. Any of them or all of them can cause slipping. Could be time for a rebuild.
