1993 Chevy Blazer V6 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles

93 Blazer stalls when put into gear. Tune up just completed. I need answers, please.

When my Blazer was doing that, I found that my EGR valve was bad. Was able to maintain an idle, but when engine was put into gear (under load), it died. There was just too much exhaust gas in the mixture and not enough fuel for ANY amount of power.
This is just one of several things that could be wrong, but this one get's over-looked.
