why does my brake light stay on, on my 1992 chevy blazer

Crissy, it could be a number of things, lets start with the easy things it could be, emergency brake not completly released or the switch not working, 2. low on brake fluid, 3 brakes going bad or not working right. if in doubt have someone look at the brakes.
