1991 Chevy Blazer won't engage into 4wd

when i shift lever into 4wd from 2wd,it won't transfer to 4 wd. Is there a switch to engage transfer case or is the actuator the prblem. the 4wd liight doesn't come on either

Chances are the actuator is the problem. Have a helper switch it to 4wd while you check for power to the actuator on the transfer case. If there is power, the actuator is most likely the problem.
