Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1989 chevy s10 blazer 4.3 ltr 4 wd
when I bought it I was told it had a bad fuel pump so I replaced it, along with the fuel filter then a few vaccum lines ( 10 ft worth) also changed the egr valve.
What it does is this, I start it, it will idle fine then slowly bog out and die, If I keep my foot on the gas it runs ok, but I put it in drive it stalls. If I want it to move I have to apply the brake and step on it it studders a little then runs fine on the road unless im coasting or at a light, then it stalls.
Can anyone tell me what else I might be able to do or do I need to a mechanic or shoot it lol thnx.

Sounds as though you may have a serious vacuum loss. You should be able to hear the vacuum sucking under the hood when the engine is running. Could be related to the brake booster vacuum also.

The check engine light isnt on, i'll check the brake booster line also.
So far I have changed fuel pump, fuel filter, egr valve spark plugs distributor n rotor im currently rebuilding injectors but lost a o ring so cant finish that til I get that back on. I took it apart to clean it and figured might as well replace all the rings. Most of the vaccuum lines were replaced. The ones I didnt I listened for leaks and checked the vacc pressure, didnt notice anything out of the ordinary. Working on getting a new or used vapor canister but no one sells new ones hope too find one at a junk yard so I dont have to goto a dealer. Only other things i've read about were the iac vailve or throttle body gasket. I hear its common for the gaskets to be sucks in and create a leak.
Thanks for the feedback and i'll post what happens.
