I have been using Castrol Syntec Oil for a couple of years. A mechanic just changed my while doing other thing. He put in Havoline motor oil.

Am I in danger of hurting my motor???

absolutely not. changing oil can do absolutely no harm to your engine. thats an urban myth. hope this helps
