today i brought my ignition module to autozone and had them check the module they said it was bad so i got a new one when i installed it my truck started. I test drove it around the block and it ran fine. About 2 hours later i got in my truck to leave and it started just fine i made it about a block and it died out on me. and it continued to do that untill my battery was dead and i tried to have someone jump start me and it wouldn't start again. i had changed the spark plugs and the plug cables so that shouldn't be a problem. they all have a good connection. so what can cause a new ignition module to burn out like it did?
