1986 Chevy Blazer back fire and stalls

Engine Performance problem
1986 Chevy Blazer Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Last week driving down highway and it backfires and starts to loose power , picks back up again and then stalls . Will not restart. Seems to have no spark . what do you suggest?

it might have jumped timing and or the timing belt broke.
