I looked up. All 3 mtrs have timing chain. No timing belt. For 120K changing timing chain is quiet unusual. Unless u are seeing a whole lot of slack on cam synn from ur scanner. If so. Ur problem of cause gotta be a lot deeper.

I have a 1997 mitsubishi galant. She has 130000 miles and shes sucking gas like an 8 cylinder. Have any clues what might be the problem? Lately shes been slow with the pickup but when she gets goin she flies like a plane? Could that be a serious problem? Thanx
